Introduction

Hi my name is Megan and I am a female Aspie that is on the high functioning part of the spectrum. I always knew that I was different. But, I didn’t understand that fact until I became older. I consider myself to be a Differently Wired female Aspie and that is ok. In my opinion,there is nothing wrong with that. I have learned that I just have a different way of doing simple tasks.

The way I Hold Silverware

For example the way I grasp kitchen utensils such as, a knife,fork ,or a spoon. This is because my hands shake due to my cerebral palsy.

The way make My Bed

Once a week , I make sure to put on a new pair of bed sheets because I want to have clean bed sheets that smell clean. You think that making a bed is not that hard but to me it totally is. Here, let me explain. For someone who has arms like a T- Rex it is challenging. Sometimes I wish that I could have the ability to stretch my arms out like Elastagirl from the movie the Incredibles. Ha ha ha! Now where was I ? Did I start from the middle of the day again? Oops! Oh now I remember So it typically takes me longer to finish but, in the end I finish putting the new pair of bed sheets on my bed. When I finally finish it felt like I was running back and forth like the roadrunner cartoon that I would love to watch when I was younger.

The Things That Are Important to Me

When I have free time my favorite things to do include the following….

1. My faith and being able to go to church every Sunday to sing praises to Jesus Christ with joy and hope. My faith in Jesus is Christ is the most important thing to me . 100%
2. Spending Quality Time with My family and friends
3. Going for a ride on e trike
4. Going out for nature walks
5. Talking to My Fiance Tim

Interests

Such as : Michael Jackson . Every time I listen to Michael Jackson’s music no matter what I am doing whether I am busy or not I just can’t sit still. I just started dancing and singing my heart out.Michael Jackson’s music has helped me deal with difficult times in my life.

My FASCINATION With Tye-Dye

I absolutely love the tye color concept. Ever since I was little, I just the way a tye dye pattern looks on a t- shirt or a hat. It just makes me feel very comfortable and peaceful. I love how colorful it is especially, when it has the color orange on it.

My Favorite Colors Are..

• orange of course number 1
• Yellow like the Sun
• Red because it reminds me of Elmo from street my favorite character from the series
• Emerald Green In Particular because of my birth month
