    If my eyes tend to dart around while I am talking to you, it’s because I am trying to figure out what I’m going to say before I respond. That doesn’t mean that I am not listening to you. This is the way that I process information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    2. Taking things too Literally<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    One Day while I was in the kitchen eating breakfast at the time I was 5 years old at the time. Then my dad came down to the kitchen saying ” I gotta fly!” I didn’t understand what my dad meant so I looked out the kitchen window asking my mother, ” Hey mom, is there an airplane on the driveway?” My mom laughed replying back to me saying, ” Megan this is a way of your dad saying that he is running late for work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    3. Heightened Sensory Sensitivities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Storm Sirens<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Every time I hear the storm sirens go off I get very frightened and very irritated the the sound because it is so loud and it hurts my ears.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Certains Smeels<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    One smell that really affects me is the smell of coleslaw. I can’t even be in the kitchen because the smell is so overwhelming for me that I feel sick to my stomach sometimes. Another one that is equal to this has to me mint flavored toothpaste. That I can absolutely not handle at all. So Instead I use cinnamon flavored toothpaste because it is not as strong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
